I was created to be an artist and a writer.
My very first artistic memory is drawing a woman’s profile on my grandma’s wallpaper paper over and over again until it was perfect in my eye. When I was six years old, I took on Chinese watercolor painting, and my paintings were exhibited throughout the region.
On the other hand, I grew up with a father who, like many Asian men in his time, believed girls are inferior to boys. As a result, I suffered from depression and loneliness in my younger years. My art and writing were my only escape.
During my 30s, I finally had the chance to pursue my passion and hone my classical skills at renowned institutions in New York City such as the New York Academy of Arts and the Art Students League.
It was during this transformative period that I experienced a profound spiritual awakening, embracing Christianity and embarking on a remarkable spiritual journey that would shape the course of my life.
My art style is bold, vibrant, emotional, and spiritual. I love to blend elements of realism with abstract forms, resulting in visually captivating works that are both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing. Each piece tells a unique story. My artwork, inspired by Vermeer’s “The Girl with the Pearl Earring,” won a national award after a year of studying oil painting.
I firmly believe that art and writing are among the most beautiful and communicable forms of spiritual transformation. They have the power to transcend language barriers, cultural differences, and personal limitations.
Through art and writing, we can express the inexpressible, share stories, and connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. It is through these creative mediums that humans can cultivate empathy, foster understanding, and promote healing not only within ourselves but also within our communities.
My mission as an artist, author, and educator is to inspire and empower others to embrace their creative potential as a means for spiritual exploration and personal growth.
By teaching healing with God through writing and painting, I aim to facilitate experiences that ignite the soul, nurture the spirit, and bring individuals closer to their true selves and the divine presence within.

Artist’s Statement
My art is a visual meditation, an exploration of inner thoughts and inspirations translated onto canvas.
Guided by the calming allure of blue, my favorite color, I intertwine modern and surreal elements to create a space for imagination and deep peace.
I want each of my paintings to become a unique journey, for the viewers to contemplate and find their own meaning within the harmonies of color and form.
