Art As a Lifestyle

You enjoy art, but how do you recognize the moment when your passion demands more dedication and investment?

It might hit you when you see a breathtaking artwork, stroll along the beach, or even wake from a vivid dream.

An undeniable urge arises within you, compelling you to capture those fleeting, precious moments, be it on canvas, through photography, or any medium that can encapsulate such emotions.

Then there’s the unmistakable void you feel when you haven’t touched your art supplies in a while—the kind that can only be remedied by retreating into your studio and letting your creativity flow.

Perhaps you find yourself admiring the works of fellow artists on social media, thinking, “I should give that a try.”

If you’ve experienced any of these sentiments, it’s your inner artistic child nudging you to take your craft more seriously.

For artists, art isn’t just a pastime; it’s a lifestyle. You’d opt to toil away in your studio rather than indulge in a reality TV show (no offense to reality TV, of course!).

You’d willingly splurge your spare change at art stores, often leaving with more than you intended (I’ve been there, too).

And when you create something truly exquisite that fills you with joy, it’s not just a painting, a sculpture, or a photograph; it’s a piece of your soul, a tangible expression of your essence.

Your art becomes the elevated self, transcending the everyday humdrum, and fulfills your purpose of contributing to the world.

I personally refer to my artwork as “high vibe art” because I believe that art should illuminate, inspire, and enrich the lives of others.

How about you? What inspire you? What kind of art do you want to bring to the world? Please leave a comment below.
